Our Impactful Projects: Building Belize’s Seaweed Mariculture
The Belize Women’s Seaweed Farmers Association (BWSFA) has led a transformative journey in sustainable seaweed mariculture — empowering women, increasing influence, strengthening institutions, and unlocking market potential across Belize’s coastal communities.
Since 2022, BWSFA has successfully delivered seven strategic projects totaling over BZ $775,000 in funding.
